Nice small restaurant, excellent staff, good quality and tasty food at a good price. Lunch menu was excellent.
I love coming to Ukulele. However, I was very surprised and disappointed when the waitress told us that the curries are not really vegetarian, as there's shrimp paste in it. Why? And HOW is that possible? I've been eating that forever, and had never been told that before (the waitress did a really good job telling us by the way, thank her for that). Not only is it dishonest but also really dangerous, as shrimp is one of the main allergens. You should really reconsider your menu. Either change the shrimp paste to miso paste (it would then also be VEGAN) or simply take it off the 'vegetarian' section.
Very good quality food, fast service, easy reservation. Highly recommended!
