Another fantastic experience at the Bick Stuff which is causing me to update my review to five stars. The lovely Virginie at the front of the house was welcoming, polite and sweet as always, and now at the times of the coronavirus she was very diligent with the sanitary precautions. Disinfectant was available at all times, tables were conforming to the sanitary guidelines, menus were transformed to plastic to allow for disinfection. All those precautions were tastefully implemented and did not at all detract from the pleasure of the experience. The food itself was the best I¿ve ever had at the restaurant. I would wholeheartedly recommend Chef Denis¿ version of the cassolette of kidneys and sweetbreads. It was the best rendition of the dish that I¿ve ever had, it was absolutely fantastic. The menu epicurien, the Tartare de Saint Jacques and the beautiful piece of zander for main that my girlfriend had were also very well done and really tasty. Their selection of wine, aperitif and digestif is always on spot.. And of course the fantastic, warm atmosphere of what is essentially their home is the perfect combination of elegant and cozy. This is as close to a combination of comfort food and fine dining as one can get.
