Overall it was very good. Friendly staff, good quality food at reasonable prices and a pleasant atmosphere. My gentle criticism would be that whilst the staff are very friendly, they can lack attentiveness. After we arrived and were seated we sat for at least ten minutes before anyone came to ask if we¿d like to order a drink whilst looking at the menu. The result being that we ordered our meal and wine there and then, and the restaurant missed out on the sale of an aperitif. But we do love it there, and a little extra training, or perhaps an extra member of staff if they are too busy, would make a big difference.

Friendly atmosphere, delicious food. One small criticism was that on a cold dark winter evening it would be so much nicer to be greeted by a cozy looking fire rather than some smoldering embers. Otherwise, a really lovely evening and excellent meal.
