Great view and delicious dishes. The Tomhawk steak was a premium experience. The restaurant is an excellent pick for couples or a group of friends/colleagues.The staff made sure that our needs are fulfilled and served in a timely manner.
The staff was perfect ,helpful and gave suggestions.The dishes were top class except for the salomon which was slighty overcooked but thats really depending how someone like it but no big deal for us.The location was really nice with a nice view over this beautiful city but the lights in the restaurant was too bright,so that the light was reflecting through the windows and was disturbing the view... Regarding the music,it was ok but we heard two different musics the one of the bar which is as well next to the restaurant split with a glass shield...could be for some guests would be annoying.
There was a conference and a crowd of people were moving between the venue and the bar through the restaurant that spoilt the atmosphere. Friendly service. Starter was good but a little heavy. Salmon was not very fresh.

The restaurant at the 8th floor of the Sofitel Hotel has a splendid view over the Petrus valley and the city of Luxemburg. Food was excellent with a modern and fresh touch, portions were ok also. Wine selection is very large in every price category. Service is adequat and friendly. There are 2 downpoints for me. The music from the bar next to the restaurant is rather disturbant and i'm sur older people will not appreciated this. The second problem i had was that het lights were so dimmed that i could hardly recognise the colour of the foord on my plate, it's not that i want a spotligth on my table but when it's to dark it ain't fun also ... for the rest it was a good expeperience !
The restaurant is located on the eighth floor of the hotel and provides one of the best views of the old part of Luxembourg city. The service and quality of food is of a high standard. Tables are well spaced out, so your conversation will not be easily overheard by people sitting on the next table. The prices are not expensive when compared to other top restaurants in the city.
all plates should be 5 to 10 euro less expensive; no salad with entrecote included (only meat and fries); wines far too overpriced. Nice view over the city
My wife and I stayed in the hotel for a short break and ate here. Food and wine were superb, service was good, and we had a lovely window table with views over the valley and city.
